Propia Aps was founded early 2017 with the objective to develop and present a unique concept within risk management to small and mid size companies with own production and/or distribution of physical goods.
The idea behind the concept origins from more than 30 years of combined experience within management of risks on the strategic aswell as on the operational level in both Danish companies and companies abroad. A lot of the challenges seen were often related to damage control and mitigating losses instead of proactive risk management.
The concept is based on industry experience from FMCG, the pharmaceutical, food, plastic, retail and IT industries. As well as a educational background from Aarhus University, CBS Copenhagen Business School and the Commercial and Engineering College in Herning.
Apart from theoretical and professional background, competences are being kept up to date and expanded via relevant post education and training, i.e. a certification in the ISO 31000 standard Risk Management.
We differentiate from many other consultants within this field by our very operational approach to the risk management. Even though internationally recognized standards are used as theoretical background for our assessments, we always keep the operational approach to the proposed improvements and processes.
